The Parents/New Moms Yoga class is an all levels, flow-based class that incorporates poses aimed at easing the discomforts of parenthood, such as tight shoulders and necks, while also strengthening the muscles to prepare for taking care of growing babies. Focusing on the breath will help alleviate stress and engage the core to transition between poses safely. Children are welcomed, and may be incorporated into some poses, and parents can nurture them as needed throughout class. Bring strollers, play yards, or blankets for your baby to be nearby while you stretch, strengthen, and relax.
